The All Aboard slot game has over 30 winning combinations and has various winning symbols such as the train engine as the wild, Casey Jones as the Scatter and Bells as the bonus symbol. There are even more symbols such as stock car, conductors, crossing sign, cattle and the lantern. If a wild symbol appears on the third reel it also triggers the megawild feature which expands and covers the entire reel to complete the winning combination.
The background noises playing the train is a great additional feature. It makes me feel like I am actually there – ready for an adventure. You will also hear warning bells which if it is signaled three times means you’ve entered the bonus round. The coin sizes go from 0.05 to 0.25 and you can bet a maximum of 200 per spin.
When you have 3 or more Casey Jones icon scatter symbols across your screen, you will win anywhere between 10 and 40 free spins that has up to a 4x multiplier. 3 scatters will give you 10 free spins, 4 scatters will give you 20 free spins and 5 will give you 40 free spins. It starts with a 2x multiplier but the more scatter the higher it goes.
The Casey Jones icon is the scatter symbol and if you have 3 or more scattered then the Casey Jones icon will appear on an active payline. This triggers the free spin feature. The wild symbol is a train engine an will substitute any other symbol to complete a winning combination minus the scatter and bonus symbol. The bonus symbol are the bells and 3 or more bells appearing on an active payline, triggers the All Aboard bonus game.
The bonus game is simple – when 3 or more bell symbols appear on a payline, it triggers the All Aboard game. You will be presented with nine train carts, and will have to click one at a time. You have to keep clicking until you find the empty train cart. The other carts are filled with credits. When you find the empty cart, your credits will be tallied and added to your total score.
The graphics are a bit basic and you may think that the slots artwork was drawn by a little kid. I think the creators could have took some more time and put some effort into the artwork. When I a playing the slots I like my eyes to feast on cool looking artwork. But it is all just pretty basic and doesn’t have that much work actually put into it. So if you are looking for a game that has better than average artwork, this is not for you. Call me picky – I know the point of the slot machines aren’t artwork or graphics but it puts me off.
Auto play mode is a nice feature which allows you to continue to run the game while you relax. Though you must collect the cargo yourself.
The Verdict – The graphics and artwork may be lacking, and more on the mundane side but once you actually start playing – this game just isn’t that bad. The sound effects are a nice addition to the game and will keep you happy. The only thing I dislike is the lack of raising your money. You can only raise it up to $2.00 which isn’t a whole lot. And auto play mode is a nice addition to this game. I would give this slot a 3/5.
